Do you like coffee? One of the good things about Japan is the cool cafés with tasty coffee. Before I came here, I had never seen or tried ice coffee in my home country Canada. Now it’s my favorite drink. Working in Kichijoji is great, too. Did you know that Kichijoji has more than 300 coffee shops, according to one popular magazine?

When I get time off, I love to go hiking in the Canadian Rockies. For me, it’s not easy to climb up a mountain pass like this.

But I love the view from high places. This is Lake O’Hara.

Sometimes I can persuade my wife to go out in a canoe. This is Lake Louise.
